Crowding
In case study #3 crowding caused an abnormal bite.
Crowding is one of the most common situations leading to orthodontic
treatment. Patients with greater than 3mm of crowding also
experience an increased risk of periodontal disease which tends to
worsen as the patient gets older. In this case, treatment with
orthodontic appliances improved and corrected the bite for optimal
oral health.
