Case Study #1

Case Study #1 - Crowding

Crowding

In case study #1 the teeth were crowded which led to an abnormal bite.  Crowding is one of the most common situations leading to orthodontic treatment.  Patients with greater than 3mm of crowding also experience an increased risk of periodontal disease which tends to worsen as the patient gets older.  In this case, orthodontic treatment with the use of braces corrected the misalignment and resulted in a more natural and pleasing dental profile.
