continually updating our materials, methods and service to
give our patients the most extensive and current care
possible. The following discusses some of the various
patient communication methods we offer:
Diagnostic and Treatment Simulation System
Our Computer Video Imaging and Quick Ceph Image equipment
includes an orthodontic diagnostic and treatment simulation
system. Computer imaging allows the patient to visualize
facial changes that are likely to occur with growth, orthodontic
treatment or jaw surgery. In addition, this system is a
powerful tool to provide a graphic means of describing diagnostic
findings and treatment plans.
Become a Better Informed Patient
OrthoEd is a system of videotape programs to educate the
patient about oral hygiene and care of their orthodontic
appliances. Advise is a videotape that explains the common
risks associated with orthodontic treatment. Not only will
patients become better informed, but their motivation to become a
partner in their own treatment will increase.
Initial Exam and Consultation Appointment
Interactive Communications is a system that utilizes multimedia
technology. This system utilizes bold
graphics, animation and morphing to explain orthodontic
appliances, concepts and procedures. This will compliment
our initial exam and consultation appointment.
